Commissions

It all begins with a sentiment or a desire to have an art piece in the home that will fit a special spot or be a reminder of a past memory...

As an artist, I’m honored and grateful to be invited to do a commission. My goal is to use my artistic abilities and vision to please my client.

Metamorphosis - Oil Monotype 16”x26”

In tribute to my niece Ashley. My sister requested a monotype based on a watercolor get well card I gave my niece Ashley when she was struggling with GBS syndrome. The commission was extremely meaningful and a reminder that with love and support, remarkable recoveries are possible.

Reminiscing about Poppies - Oil Monotype 36”x24”

My client has a love for poppies. She had seen a very small notecard I made and wanted the same image done on a large scale. This monotype is a reminder of the poppy fields she fondly reminisced about from her childhood in England.

Glorious Hibiscus - Oil Monotype 15”x26”

My client wanted large scale flowers to hang in the stairwell of her beautiful home in Salida, Colorado. The vertical format added an extra challenge; after various sketches of hibiscus and poppies, she decided hibiscus and a bit of lavender suited her desires perfectly.

New Mexico Sunset - Watercolor 19”x13”

Aspen Vista - Watercolor 19”x13”

Shimmering Aspen - Oil 24”x48”
